About Siriporn Chaiyaporn

Bangkok gives me more pictures than I can use, so I edit hard. I paint when a scene will not sit still in a straight description, and I sew when I want the idea to have weight in the hand. Textile work slows me down in a way I need. A drawing can be finished before lunch. A cloth panel takes the week and teaches me what I was actually thinking. I live with a small table, good thread, and too many sketches pinned above it. If a piece feels clever and empty, I unpick it. I would rather show you something slightly odd that I believe than something polished that I do not.
